V I S I O N

The Vision

To create this holistic, educational paradigm of a new ‘educational-eco-system of wilderness-equity school education’; genuinely secular, liberal, pluralist, peaceful, tolerant with multi-cultural diversity and humane social and staunch family values; integrating the highest values in human education, with the Conservation and Sustainable use of the Wilderness, Forests, Wildlife, Water, Air, Natural Resources and the natural environment. This outdoor and academic high-achieving blend of scientific, modern, urban and rural, less-privileged and elitist, globally competitive yet inclusive education. Inducting in total harmony 25% of the school as children of ‘indigenous tribal eco-system-peoples’ having varying levels of sophistication, and primitive development. Providing them with complete equality, TOTALLY FREE education and upbringing, as “Wilderness Scholars”, the children of the Indian "wilderness". To be drawn from the remote forests, mountains, seascapes and rivers, jungles and the mangroves, the First Generation Learners, disadvantaged by the remoteness of location and economic, social, geographical or cultural circumstance; the best of modern, international, scientific education for eventual development, growth and placement into creative, satisfying high-value careers. Harmonizing caste-ethnic and socio-economic, cultural-religious, and linguistic contrasts which are the strength of India, which the world needs. Extending ‘affirmative action’ for 25 % children from the salaried professional classes, through half-fee system of scholarships.

The parents, and the villages and habitations, of the 25% TOTALLY FREE ‘Wilderness Equity SCHOLARS, will be adopted as the special responsibility of the autonomous and professional “Development Division”, with a separate Corpus of Funds. They will be fully integrated and socially adopted, by the School system, assimilating their creative, primitive but traditional culturally civilized mores from the rural, tribal, wilderness and remote areas of the world, and delivered rapid, socially equitable ‘sustainable development’. ALL the expenditure of the “Development Division” will be covered by a SPECIAL corpus FUND for the ‘socially equitable sustainable’ Development Division of the School.

The Wilderness Equity School is a magnanimous educational and ‘affirmative’ social concept, and invites the affluent and the elite, and yet the most sensitive and perceptive, parents to benefit from ‘voluntarily’ allowing their occasionally pampered and over-indulged children to grow into stronger and more confident personalities, by studying fraternally as ‘equals’ in the democratic milieu of the school.
